What's the simplest and cheapest Gateway for WooCommerce?

Hey,
I'm setting up an online store based on Wordpress and I wanted to add a crypto checkout option on WooCommerce platform. I googled a bunch and even tried a couple that had a demo version. Looking at reviews they all rank about the same, 3 to 3.5 stars with people complaining that stuff don't work.
Now, what I was looking for was a gateway (or direct to wallet payment if that exists) that had low to no commissions and that it worked. I plan on accepting mainly Bitcoin, but if there's alts I guess that's alright too. (a way to removing some alts if available would be ideal as I don't really want to support some projects)
What do you recommend based on your experience?
Thanks

Buy a Car with Cryptocurrency! Verus Coin Foundation Announces VerusPay™ -- Multi-coin Web Payment Gateway with Sapling Private Payment Support

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 24, 2019 - The Verus Coin Foundation announces immediate availability of the free, open source, self-sovereign WooCommerce Payment gateway with optional Sapling private payments. VerusPay enables any Wordpress-based store to easily accept Verus Coin ($VRSC), and soon Pirate ($ARRR), Komodo ($KMD), Bitcoin ($BTC), Zcash ($ZEC), and others for product or service payments. VerusPay initially supports Verus Coin and is designed to support additional coins as well, with coin-specific QR invoices which work seamlessly with the Verus Mobile mobile wallet for one-click payments for any supported coin.
VerusPay makes online payments as easy as cash, without depending on any centralized third party. Since there is no third party to charge payment fees, only normal blockchain transaction fees apply, which usually amount to fractions of a penny, independent of the amount.
“VerusPay offers the first simple and provably private payment gateway that combines ease of installation and use with privacy beyond Visa/Mastercard or Paypal, as there simply are no third parties involved in a transaction,” said Mike Toutonghi, ex-Microsoft Vice President and Lead Developer for the Verus Coin Project.
In addition to crypto enthusiasts, who expect to sell branded merchandise or tech-related goods using VerusPay, even mainstream businesses have taken an interest. At least one car dealership (https://ruttercars.com/) has decided to use the new VerusPay solution to sell cars. John Rutter, CEO of Rutter Cars in Chattanooga Tennessee, USA, is implementing the new VerusPay plugin to allow anyone to purchase a car with Verus Coin cryptocurrency, using the VerusPay online interface. “People can visit, browse our inventory, and have a simple choice to buy their car in a traditional way or with Verus cryptocurrency. I think projects with advantages like Verus privacy for customers and simplicity for small businesses like us are the ones that will succeed. We are happy to be early adopters in what we think will be a growing way to accept payments, and when people do pay this way, maybe we’ll just HODL.”
VerusPay and installation instructions are available from the Verus Coin github here: https://github.com/VerusCoin/VerusPay .

EOT - Encryption of things

**EOT - Encryption of things**
There is a huge surge in devices attached to the internet, known as the Internet of Things, and it is estimated that over 80 Billion devices will be connected to the internet by 2025, from industrial machines to devices in our home. The constant hacking and cyber attacks have increased not only the demand but the necessity of secure solutions. Our privacy and digital footprint are at risk.
Some examples where encryption plays a role:
Secure messaging - To make messages truly secure we need a process whereby a cryptography can be applied to encrypt transaction.
Secure calling - Secure calling is a process whereby the caller and the recipient of the call are identified and linked via a blockchain enabled cryptocurrency transfer, again creating public and private encryption keys making the call truly private.
Secure media storage - To safely and securely store media a process is required where 1.) Access to the media is encrypted via public and private keys of the person wanting to store the media. 2.) The media itself needs to be encrypted with a set of encryption keys and 3.) Media storage costs need to be paid via cryptocurrency
Secure browsing - To browse the internet securely we need to create a process of verification whereby nodes on the blockchain can verify websites as “safe”. Furthermore, the entire process needs to be encrypted as well.
Verification - This is one of the most important uses of a blockchain, we can verify websites as in the example above but also various other things such as identity, title and ownership, date stamps and source of products as with the verification of the source of agricultural or other products. These are just a few examples. All of this data needs to be encrypted as well.
“Smart home” security - Wi-Fi is often used for remote monitoring and control. Home devices, when remotely monitored and controlled via the Internet, are an important constituent of the Internet of Things - all needing encryption, otherwise, hackers paradise.
EOT in the future - The examples we mentioned above are only “scratching the surface” of where these technologies are applicable and who knows what will be invented in future. Google, Apple and Uber are all testing cars that drive themselves. A major issue with this technology is again the security aspect and the need to protect against hacking and who want’s to get into a spaceship to Mars that might be hacked or hijacked by ransomware?
So the future for the “Encryption of Things” – EOT, looks very interesting indeed and the role of crypto currencies in this will be major.

Some Helpful Information

You have been keeping a great secret.
I've been doing a bit of research with the technology behind this coin. It looks like ALOT of research has gone into this tech, since about 2004 and shortly after a patent for this P2P system was quickly issued.
Bitvault (https://swissbankinyourpocket.com/product/bitvault/) who are using the worlds first blockchain phone as a secure communication device and ultimately taking encryption to the Internet Of Things (IoT) keeping our personal and business data secure. All this is done using EOT coin (Encryption of Things).
In todays world insecure devices are rampant. Here are a couple of links about the CIA being able to use insecure devices to 'cause accidents' http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/cyber-life/sd-me-wikileaks-cia-20170307-story.html and https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/innovations/wp/2017/03/08/what-we-know-about-car-hacking-the-cia-and-those-wikileaks-claims/
It's scary to think a legal entity could posses such power over life. Just the mere fact alone the governing authority can request phone records (e.g. txt msgs, voice msgs or eavesdropping) proves most if not all telecommunication companies do not encrypt, otherwise whats the point on requesting the information!? (legal or not).
Commercially sensitive information needs to be protected and most importantly in my opinion our rights and the privacy of all citizens of the human race need to be protected.
From my understanding BitVault is a platform for reference data. This would be data that is stored for compliance reasons such as e-mails, invoicing systems and check imaging (e.g. high quality imaging for x-rays, MRI scans etc) and a prototype was developed in 2004. This would means massive amount of data storage is required with fail-safe systems so a authorised user could access this information very very quickly.
Three goals were needed to be achieved: Low cost, high reliability/availability and simplicity. This is the birth of Bitvault via EOT.
Bitvault ultimately stores immutable objects with each new version being updated and identified with a 160-bit key.
System stability is very important and must be immune to failure sequences. Parallel repair via indexing is one of the many strengths Bitvault has been able to demonstrate.
BitVault is a back-end system that uses Applications to catalog object ID's. Using a catalog utility and indexing within an application prevented scalability bottlenecking under heavy loads.
Fast forward 3 years to 2007 a very important decision was to decentralise BitVaults system. This in my opinion is one of the fundamental principles of cryptocurrency - No one entity or person has any control of the data stored and only the authorised user can access this info. Ultimate Security and thus personal safety (see above articles CIA hacks). BitVault using applications have been able to use provable communication and data storage with ease of retrieval with vital security measures.
BitVault is not alone in researching solutions for security for the IoT, such as Venti and the like are making progress, however, BitVault is 'head and shoulders' above the few competitors and are already offering practical working solutions on the market with huge scalability that is cost effective.
Well Done BitVault, well done EOT your secret is out and let the world embrace.

I have had a response in Slack and it has satisfied my questions. Thank-you.
For everyone information here it is:
The currency was created with 200 Million EOT total supply on 7 July 2017 [ we showed it to the community a London Fintech week with the demonstration of the BitVault - fintechweek.com ]
100 Million was pre-mined and another 100 Million are currently being mined, 1 block every 90 seconds @ 100 coins per block.
So the pre-mined coins were listed on waves as a token so that it can create a market for the coins while we are working to get listed on other exchanges.
The 100 Million coins listed were distributed in several ways. Firstly, this was not an ICO because our business is already funded via private capital. We wanted to get the currency distributed a widely as possible. So most of the initial coins were given away to a number of interested parties. We distributed this to our whole development team, business partners, employees as well as to the waves and other communities. So we did not sell all these coins for the current price, most of it was given away for free to people that have an interest in our products and business. The price now is formed by whoever owns these coins.
The tokens on the exchange is really a representation of the currency and as such has value because it can be interchanged, just like Bitcoin and Ethereum are on the waves exchange. This whole process is explained on page 4 of the waves whitepaper, I think they call it an asset-to-asset exchange which makes it possible to list any asset that exist on waves. Unfortunately waves only has gateways currently for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Waves, Euro and USD, so we have to develop our own gateway, which will be available on Nov 1.
So to clarify 100,000,000 tokens costing $190M were not sold. It is a combination of airdrops, private sales and sales on the exchange.
Some EOT coins are needed because: "A lot of EOT will be distributed through our devices. For example our encrypted routers are pre-loaded with EOT, so we need that stock and it will be distributed that way".
And with the response to tokens on the Waves Exchange "This is how Bitcoin works on waves: - They created 21 Million BTC Tokens.. When you deposit Bitcoin into waves account, you receive an equal amount of tokens which you can either trade or even sent via the waves blockchain to another user.. Once you withdraw your tokens are exchanged for BTC and you receive it back into your BTC wallet.. Exactly the same for USD or EUR - You don't send Euro's to another client on waves if you transfer - you send a token that represents EUR -- This works exactly the w0083".
These are the answers I was looking for and make a lot of sense now. This is indeed an exciting project. :)
It's time to trade....
Now I have one question left....
Is there anyone using NiceHash to mine this coin?? I keep being disconnected because of the difficulty being too low. Can any one help?
EOT (coin) is now tradable on the CryptoBridge Decentralised Exchange, you can sign up below.
Please note this is for the EOT COIN ONLY, do not send tokens to this dex. This is a secure means to trade with the backend being on a blockchain. It is still in beta stage but has been working flawlessly so far. If you'd like more info I will post their website link is below.

You can sign up with a local wallet mode, meaning you are the only one with access to your keys, this is most secure. There is also the option to sign up with and account if you require access to you funds on the go.

MyCryptoCheckout is a cryptocurrency payment gateway for WooCommerce & Easy Digital Downloads. It allows you to receive funds directly from the customers wallet into any wallet(s) of your choice.
KEY FEATURES & HIGHLIGHTS:

Full disclosure: I am one of the founders of MyCryptoCheckout. I also run a webshop and we created this plugin so a 3rd party was not forcing us to use a specific wallet, and so the coins would go directly from the customer wallet to the webshops wallet rather than to a 3rd party processors wallet in the middle.

Allow us to pay Bitcoin Cash to buy Reddit Gold

Why? Because Bitcoin Cash's fees are 2200 times (at the time of writing - check here: https://cashvscore.com) cheaper, and its transactions are usually always confirmed in the next block (10-15 minutes) even if you pay the lowest fee.
If you need help integrating it, ask Rawb0t , he's one of Staff of Rocketr, the most used Bitcoin Cash payment API.
A quote from him:
Rocketr has an extensive API for full integration as well, of course, as an IPN.
We also have easily embedded buttons.
We have plugins for WHMCS as well as WooCommerce, and we're more than willing to create plugins for other major ecommerce platforms at our users' requests (just email us)

eBTC Merchant Gateway is LIVE!

eBitcoin’s Merchant Gateway is LIVE (From https://medium.com/@eBTCFoundation/ebitcoins-merchant-gateway-is-live-1fb94399937a )
After the exchange integrations, the Merchant & Payment Gateway to accept eBitcoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other top 50 altcoins has finally launched, marking a big turning point for eBitcoin! Up to this point, we actually had very little other than promises to market. Now, we have a SERVICE to advertise. The Merchant Services are now active with plugins for the most common e-commerce solutions like Shopify, Weebly, OpenCart, ECWID & WooCommerce. They also offer simple HTML-based “Buy Now” buttons that can be used on any website, as well as implementation for WordPress and a simple Rest API.
The Merchant Gateway is a joint venture between the eBitcoin Foundation and Cointopay International B.V. As a solution provider for the eBitcoin Foundation, it was important to have the gateway built by a reliable technology partner who also covers the legal aspects since eBitcoin Foundation is decentralized itself without even a physical headquarter.
Since Cointopay has been established in the Cryptomarket since 2014, activating eBitcoin’s Merchant Gateway and Services opens the door to over 3000 existing Merchants and more than 10.000 Customers that can accept eBTC as well as spend eBTC on all kinds of goods. Additionally, customers can buy eBTC with Fiat via IBAN and Payeer.
With a gateway fee of only 1%, we are really looking forward to new merchants and customers using these services, and welcoming the existing ones to use eBTC as their payment solution.

Cryptocurrency payment gateway plugin for WooCommerce & Easy Digital Downloads. 0% transaction fees. No product restrictions. Use any wallets you want. Supports BTC, BCH, DASH, ETH, LTC, & ERC20 tokens

MyCryptoCheckout is a cryptocurrency payment gateway for WooCommerce & Easy Digital Downloads. It allows you to receive funds directly from the customers wallet into any wallet(s) of your choice.
KEY FEATURES & HIGHLIGHTS:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/mycryptocheckout/
Full disclosure: I am one of the founders of MyCryptoCheckout. I also run a webshop and we created this plugin so a 3rd party was not forcing us to use a specific wallet, and so the coins would go directly from the customer wallet to the webshops wallet rather than to a 3rd party processors wallet in the middle.

Bitcoin Cash payment gateway for WooCommerce

I have forked an existing bitcoin payment gateway for WooCommerce (Wordpress) to support Bitcoin Cash:
https://github.com/mboyd1/bitcoin-cash-payments-for-woocommerce
note: I have tested this plugin on my site and it works well in my testing, but please do your own thorough testing before turning it on your live customer payments. I am no expert PHP programmer like Mark Karpeles (lol) so there may be bugs.
background: I launched http://bitvapes.com back in 2011 as the first electronic cigarette vendor accepting Bitcoin. I had lots of early adopter bitcoin customers happily served from all over the world. Today there are dozens (hundreds?) of e-cig vendors who take Bitcoin payments, which is really neat.
After the birth of my first child, with life being crazy and busy, I shut the site down for several years. But the release of Bitcoin Cash has re-invigorated my excitement for cryptocurrencies. I forked this woocommerce plugin with the intention of re-launching BitVapes as a 'Bitcoin Cash only' site. I am finalizing some deals with partner vendors and will be re-launching BitVapes soon.
But I wanted to get this BCH payment gateway out there so more vendors like me can start accepting Bitcoin Cash and enhance the ecosystem for us all.

With Paymium, European merchants can now accept payments in Bitcoin with instant conversion to Euro, without fee

The exchange Bitcoin-Central was renamed to Paymium and just launched their new Bitpay-like service for european merchants. From their Facebook post :
With Paymium, European merchants can now accept Euro payments through the Bitcoin network - https://www.paymium.com/page/merchants PRESS RELEASE Date: Monday, June 30th 2014 - Paris, France Release date: for immediate release PDF version: https://blogdotbitcoincentraldotnet.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/paymium-merchants_press-release_en_20140630.pdf
Accepting Bitcoin payments is now easier than ever. Paymium is delighted to introduce today its merchant solution to accept payments in Bitcoin with instant conversion to Euro, without fee, for every European merchant. Using this easy-to-setup, easy-to-use solution, merchants can now accept payments with Bitcoin, without currency exchange rate risk: amounts are displayed in Euro and paid with Bitcoins; the Bitcoin payment is then instantly converted to Euro. In other words, if a product is sold 100€ and paid with Bitcoin using Paymium, the merchant receives 100€. Funds are instantly available and can be withdrawn with no rolling reserve. Live example: hand-picked premium Champagne retailer MonChampagne.net accepts payments with Bitcoin using Paymium (1) http://monchampagne.net/

[PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY] Mass adoption through merchant adoption | 100 x 100 DOGE

How to increase overall adoption of digital currencies

Increasing the rate at which merchants accept digital currencies as a payment method seems to be a good way to increase the overall adoption rate of digital currencies among people. The more possibilities people have to spend their coins on something useful, the less is the incentive to exchange the coins for fiat.
For merchants, digital currencies will become more attractive if the overlap between the users of the currency and the merchant's target group is big enough that the expected returns (meaning revenue and publicity) at least cover the additional cost of implementing and offering a new payment method. That's why we need many different options that make it possible to accept digital currencies in a cost-effective and flexible way.

Okay, and now?

Because of the reasons above I am working on CryptoWoo, a payment gateway for WooCommerce that uses the free Block.io API & wallet service. screenshots WooCommerce is an easy to setup E-Commerce plugin for Wordpress with currently almost 400k live installations. I intend to release the plugin under an open source license (after I talked to someone who knows about the implications) to create a possibility to accept Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin with a minimum of implementation cost and operational fees and a maximum of flexibility.
100 users that tell me what they think about increasing overall adoption through increasing merchant adoption in a constructive comment below will be tipped 100 DOGE.
BTW, I could use some help with testing the frontend implementation of the plugin and created a [BS] thread in dogemarket. Check it out if you are interested to help me increase the usefulness of Dogecoin!
EDIT: Clarified WooCommerce

Welcome to the official X12 community

Welcome to the official X12 community

This is the official subreddit of the X12 coin - a secure, private and untraceable Privacy Coin, user-optimized due to its simple, user friendly X12 ecosystem. Please read this post to understand the basics about X12 and check out our community rules at the end of this thread.

What is X12

X12 is a secure, private and untraceable Privacy Coin, user-optimized due to its simple, user friendly X12 ecosystem. X12 offers an extensive ecosystem including mobile wallets, ATM and debit cards, making it really simple to use for everyone while still protecting the privacy of all parties involved.

The X12 community

The X12 coin is an independent, open-source privacy coin with a big and enthusiastic community! Many volunteers are working very hard to take the X12 coin to the next level.
We can also see an extreme interest from independent companies from different industries – including finance, which are building X12 online shops, mining pools, wallet solutions etc.
ATM: An ATM provider is interested in listing X12 on his machines.
Online-Shops: Members from the X12 community have developed a great online shop in which X12 holders can buy products with X12 coins.
Payment processor: a Wordpress Plugin, for one of the biggest online-shop systems „WooCommerce“ was developed.
Cloud Wallet: SkyWallet is a free, secure, simple and fast cryptocurrency wallet in the cloud and makes it possible to send coins to an other Skywallet address with just using the e-mail as the receiver address
Mining Pools: Many independent mining pools are helping to secure and stabilize the X12 network.

Exchanges

With the help and voting power of the X12 community, we managed to get X12 listed on the following exchanges:

X12 ecosystem

Our mission is to create and establish a truly simple cryptocurrency that can easily be used by everyone. The X12 community is doing everything to reduce complexity and thus make using X12 as simple as paying for a meal with a credit card at your favourite restaurant or ordering concert tickets online.

Bitcoin payments on a wordpress site

I currently use WooCommerce with the Stripe processing plugin for one of my ecommerce sites and was trying to implement Bitcoin payments as an option. I've been reading through the plugins offered but was hoping there was someone here who could provide some advice or insight. I use the Stripe payment gateway right now but it doesn't have a specific Bitcoin option.
Here are the plugins I'm considering:
GoURL Commerce
XAdapter for WooCommerce
or the one I think I'm leaning towards:
Woocommerce Coingate
Any advice for these plugins or better options would be greatly appreciated.
