CRYPTOPUZZLER INFO (Also found on the wiki)

This information explains the information regarding the puzzles that could be helpful to those trying to solve them. It also explains how you can support the puzzles. It will be updated regularly.
How do the puzzles work?
The idea is I write short stories/themes that contain all the seed words. These are hidden in the story in a variety of ways (codes, numbers, plain sight, riddles, clues, etc etc), this is likely to get more complicated as time goes on but for now is remaining relatively simple. I think I will also be adding brain teasers that will be significantly easier with much lower prizes. For these rather than making a wallet, I will operate by sending dogecoins to the first correct comment (with a bonus if the winner explains their method to find the answer)
How often will you post puzzles?
I'll be posting these as soon as they've been created and checked. Even if the previous one has not been solved I will be posting new ones. I will leave about a month between posting, so people don't find themselves flicking between puzzles but after a month if its ready, a new one will be uploaded. By having multiple puzzles here to be attempted, I am hoping people will be encouraged as theres more opportunities to win. I think I might post easier brain teasers with small prizes (around the 50 doge mark) just to encourage participation.
This all seems a bit chaotic, is there no organisation system? I have used flairs to organise, 'puzzle', 'clue' and eventually 'solution' once they're solved. I'm still learning how to organise things on reddit but I assure you, it will be done.
How will puzzles be funded?
The first one has been funded through /dogecoinbeg and my own private funds, I am hoping for donations once I've published a few puzzles to help me fund future ones. I also use faucets to fund them. If you want to support my puzzles without donating, I would highly appreciate you using my referral links which I will publish below.
How do we know this isn't a scam?
Part of the reason I'm planning on keeping puzzle prizes low for the time being is so people aren't afraid to donate ie the value is too low to be worth scamming for. Also, creative writing is the highest effort way of scamming I can possibly think of.
Can I support without donating?
Absolutely yes! Liking, commenting and sharing are the best ways to show support. I want to grow a puzzle community on here and the only way I can do that is with the support of you guys! Also, feedback. Whether in comments or private messages I will respond to any feedback and suggestions.
How do you decide how much the prize is?
It will be based on difficulty level, once I've worked out how to gauge that.
Will prizes always be in dogecoin?
No, probably not. I am planning on a puzzle with a bitcoin prize but that will be significantly more difficult. Dogecoin puzzles I am creating because I enjoy it and I think dogecoin is painfully underrated (Lets be real, its v fast and its got doge in the name, says it all really)
Referral links (All of these are linked to my personal doge wallet which will fund puzzles):
Cointiply - this is a website and android app faucet. You earn coins through the hourly free coin spin, watching ads and completing surveys and can withdraw in either doge or bitcoin. I personally have been withdrawing in bitcoin to convert to dogecoin. This has a generous referral scheme in which I receive 25% of earnings from spins. This is my main faucet so anyone using this is definitely contributing to puzzle prize funds :DMobile referral link https://cointiply.mobi/21muWebsite referral link http://cointiply.com/kVPK6
Moondoge - the moon faucets are pretty popular, you just click whenever you want and the coins go to you coinpot wallet, I get a 1% referral bonus per person that signs up so thats again, pretty good to earn to fund my puzzlesReferral link http://moondoge.co.in/?ref=D941AC8F3D5A
The crypto faucet - one click a day earns between 0.3 to 600 dogecoins and can withdraw at 10 dogecoins. Using my referral earns the prize fund 50% of whatever you earn. https://www.thecryptofaucet.com/?r=67361
Resources to help you crack puzzles:
This list will basically contain sites that I've either used to help code things and sites I've used when trying to break my codes from scratch (when trying to think like someone who hasn't seen it before). Decoding - https://cryptii.com

Best Bitcoin Faucets

Best Bitcoin Faucets
Bitcoin faucets are websites or applications that offer you a small amount of bitcoin as a reward for making easy tasks. Depending on the selected faucet, users can earn coins for completing various tasks, such as viewing certain websites, watching ads, entering a captcha, or playing a game.
by StealthEX
At the beginning of the cryptocurrency’s existence, when the stakes were not so high, the creators of faucets gave 5 bitcoins for each claim — back then it was their way to promote digital money among newcomers. Now faucets operate with much smaller amounts and give out some part of the Bitcoin, which is measured in Satoshi(named after the creator of Bitcoin). Satoshi is the smallest possible fractional number of Bitcoin — one BTC is equal to 100 million Satoshi.
If you have ever left a water tap not completely closed, you probably noticed that water was dripping into it, and if you put a bowl under it, sooner or later it will be filled. Even though one-time payments on faucets are scanty, many advise not to neglect the opportunity to earn on them, because, with the right approach, faucets can bring a tangible profit with a minimum of effort.
There are plenty of sites offering free bitcoins. Unfortunately, most of them are not trustworthy, do not live long, or are simply overflowed with annoying flashing ads. However, there are some that work for many years, used by thousands of users and considered reliable.
Here is the list of them:

Freebitcoin

This faucet is probably the most well-known one. It was created in 2013 on the territory of the British Virgin Islands. Payouts are not fixed and vary for each claim. You can get cryptocurrency every hour, and for each claim you get from 0.00000030 to 0.03 BTC. In addition to the faucet, Freebitcoin allows you to earn in other ways — save interest on your deposit, play the lottery, invite new users via referral links.
It supports several withdrawal methods: you can set up automatic withdrawal every Sunday, slow withdrawal every 6–24 hours, or use the fastest instant withdrawal that takes 15 minutes. The last one, of course, has the highest fee.

Moon Bitcoin

Founded in 2015, the Moon Bitcoin has a certain user base and is considered by many to be one of the best faucets in existence.
There are many appealing bonus offers. For example, the site gives you a reward for consistency — if you enter a captcha at least once every day, you will accumulate a bonus +1% to earnings daily. Like most other faucets, Moon Bitcoin offers a bonus for bringing new users.
Earned funds are instantly transferred to the linked Coinpot wallet. The minimum withdrawal amount is 10,000 Satoshi if you agree to pay the fee. Or wait until it’s going to be over 50,000 Satoshi on your account and withdrawal money for free. It is worth saying that Coinpot has its own bonus program. For example, for one captcha entry, you get 3 Coinpot tokens that can also be converted to cryptocurrency.
There are also Moon faucets for Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash and DogeCoin. All payments are concentrated in one Coinpot account.

Bonus Bitcoin

Bonus Bitcoin is one of the oldest services and is considered one of the best bitcoin faucets. You can request a new portion of free coins every 15 minutes, getting an average of 10 Satoshi per claim. You can also gain more coins completing tasks in the offers and surveys section.
Users who regularly stay active for a number of days receive an additional 5% of their daily rewards. The site also gives 50% of all fees of users you invited using referral links.
Bonus Bitcoin accounts are also connected to Coinpot, a micro-earnings wallet that accumulates your payouts. The site also provides the opportunity to earn Litecoin and Dogecoin.

Bitfun

This is one more faucet associated with Coinpot wallet. Bitfun started its work in January 2017. In addition to the faucet itself, which allows you to request free Satoshi every 3 minutes, the site has a large number of browser games of various genres. Progress in these games gives you additional earnings. You can also earn coins by completing offers.
As with Bonus Bitcoin, the user receives 50% of the fees of their referrals.

Cointiply

The service was launched in 2018 and has become known as one of the best free bitcoin generators. There are several ways to claim Satoshi. In addition to the faucet, you can also earn bitcoins by watching videos, clicking on ads, and playing browser games.
Here you can make claims once every 12 hours and get a certain number of Coins to your account. Coins are the inner currency of this service, 10000 Coins worth 1$. It converted to Satoshi at the time of withdrawal.
Rewards can be collected at FaucetHub, another web wallet for micropayments, in this case, the withdrawal limit is 35,000 Coins. For amounts over 100,000 Coins, withdrawals can be made directly to your bitcoin wallet. Or you can keep Coins at the site and earn 5% interest.
Users can earn a loyalty bonus, by claiming rewards every day. Bringing another user via referral link gives you 25% of their claims and 10% of their offer earnings.

Pentafaucet

PentaFaucet is one of the oldest and most stable bitcoin faucets today. The main difference from similar websites is that the site uses double protection: captcha and anti-bot. You can collect from 5 to 25 Satoshi every 5 minutes. A reasonable amount of advertising and a simple interface make working with the faucet comfortable.
The faucet does not allow you to earn money from games, surveys, and other sponsorship services. In addition to the main method, it offers only a referral program, giving 10% from earnings of each new user.
Earned Satoshi are instantly transferred to the FaucetHub wallet. You can withdraw your funds from FaucetHub to your bitcoin wallet once a week on Sundays.

FireFaucet

FireFaucet is a multi-currency automatic faucet, perhaps the best of its kind. This resource allows you to earn 9 cryptocurrencies at the same time, as well as instantly withdraw the accumulated funds to the Faucet Hub.
The Auto Claim function allows for collecting currency automatically. You can change the number of currencies to get and the time between collections.
FireFaucet affords many different ways to earn money: in addition to the faucet itself, there are also offers, a referral system that gives 20% from newcomer’s income, and browser mining. FireFaucet also has its own unique level system: getting XP for various actions on the site and raising their level, users receive a reward in Satoshi.
As a pleasant addition, FireFaucet has a nice-looking design and does not use pop-up ads.

DailyFreeBits

This bitcoin faucet does not require registration. All you need is the public address of your BTC wallet. Users can claim Satoshi every hour, getting from 5 to 1200 each time.
At the moment DailyFreeBits is using the FaucetHub wallet we are already familiar with. The resource offers a referral reward. By inviting new users to the website, you can regularly receive 10% of their earnings.
These are probably the best bitcoin faucets at this point. Do not expect that you will earn loads of money just using faucets, but it is with no doubt an interesting and easy way to get a certain portion of free Satoshi and learn how the cryptocurrency and various wallets work.
Always be careful and study every site that is claimed to be a Bitcoin faucet with some scepticism. Always be critical of your choice and read reviews.

I found out about Quant here. What are your other moonshots that have a quality product and ideally a mainnet or a roadmap that is realistically going to be implemented and be useful?

first thanks for for Quant, when i read about what it does and their partnership with SIA, i thought this had some legs. if it gets binance listing, which i think it should because of SIA partnership, it should moon even higher, there are plenty of posts in this sub talking about its benefits so have a read. its not too late despite cracking into the top 100 today in mcap.
im here to ask what your picks are for moonshots and why. maybe this could be a monthly thread?
I'm also going to give my pointers on how to pick good projects, its not exhaustive. just the basics without havng to spend 2 days reading a whitepaper
What to look for in a quality project
does this solution need a blockchain?
lets me honest, most blockchain projects are garbage / vapourware and in many circumstances are best served by a centralised solution over a decentralised one that blockchain provides. have a read of this paper I posted on /CryptoTechnology https://np.reddit.com/CryptoTechnology/comments/7yptse/do_you_need_a_blockchain_this_paper_is_fantastic/
the paper is a tad anti blockchain, but thats up to the reader to decide. but the short answer is, there isnt that many use cases for blockchain.
Some coins posted here im skeptical about, posted in threads here
Fantom and BANANO . DaGs with smart contracts. i havent looked into how rich these are. they could be basic smart contracts like in bitcoin or provide a turing complete language allowing dApps. i dont see how this can work in practice on a DaG though. the kicker for me and DaGs promising richer features like this is that they are operating on a feeless model which runs into problems with running a node, it boils down to wanting to support the network, as is the case with nano and iota (i dont want to start a war here, just my opinion).
Also for Dags promising smart contracts. if it does run a Turing complete language it's resources have to be regulated to not bring down the network because Turing complete languages can run loops, an infinite loop can bog down the network. Etherum resolves this with Gas computation requires gas, money. So how does a feeless dag with dapps work?
I realise BANNANO is a memecoin forked off nano code, but like doges fork of the code from LTC it looks like they are doing serious dev on it (correct me if im wrong) that its 2100 or so in mcap position, so throw 100$ and get the faucet coins.

The ultimate guide to passive crypto earnings!

I've spent the last couple months figuring out a good strategy to generate some passive cryptocurrency without investing money before a big bull-run starts. As Bitcoin is still fairly low, but cryptos have been risen again in the last weeks, it's best to get in now. I don't have very much time, so I examinated the best-working websites with the littlest time investment and the highest result possible.

Disclaimer: This will be a long post and I'll tell you all the sites I use and how my strategy works. Use it as an inspiration and develop your own working strategy. Skip stuff that doesn't seem to be worth your time or websites you don't like. If you don't like to use a referral-link, just remove the last part of the link. Most websites will give you a bonus when signing up with a ref-link, though and I would appreciate it for the effort I put in this guide.

I assume you have some basic knowledge on cryptocurrencies, a wallet and accounts on Faucethub and Coinpot.

So, let's get started.

Step 1: Claim once a day from stacking up faucets

If you're familiar with faucets, you probably know the moon-faucets that pay directly to Coinpot. They keep stacking up until your next claim, so they are the best and highest-paying faucets if you want to keep your time claiming as little as possible. I suggest you use them at least once a day to accumulate the daily bonus that will really change your game. I do a quick claiming round once in the morning and once in the evening. If you have more time, they are also really worth being claimed more often. For the sake of completion I will include them here:

Moonbitcoin for Bitcoin
Moonlitecoin for Litecoin
Moonbitcoincash for Bitcoin Cash
Moondash for Dash
Moondogecoin for Dogecoin
Bitfun stacking up Bitcoin-faucet that pays instantly to Coinpot

Two new exact clones of the Moonfaucets that pay instantly to Faucethub with no minimum. They also have daily bonus:

Getcoin Bitcoin for Bitcoin
Getcoin Litecoin for Litecoin

And the last stacking up faucet for BTC: Yannik.biz

So yeah, try to claim them at least once a day to maintain your daily bonus. The bonus can really be a game changer on these ones. Claiming them all will take no more than 5-10 minutes every day.

Step 2: Receive daily interest on your faucet claims!

Send your Bitcoin to Freebitcoin and receive daily interest on your balance once you have more than 30000 Satoshis (shouldn't take too long if you put in some effort in the beginning). You can also use the website as a faucet once a hour. It is actually paying well. If you use my link to sign up a new account you will receive life-long +12,5% on your daily interest and +25% on all your claims. If you already have an account, just create a new one with this link and delete your old one as this ref-back-bonus will give you a decent boost on your earnings. Freebitcoin is one of the oldest and most trusted website in the crypto scene!

Step 3: Claim even more cryptos once you have some spare time

Highest-paying sites I found where you can claim every hour along with Freebitcoin are these:

Cointiply: very high paying and they also give you daily interest, but are tied to USD-rates, so you're better off withdrawing your satoshis to Freebitcoin once you reached minimum withdrawal as you would lose satoshis if BTC price continues to rise.

Freedogecoin: Same as Freebitcoin, but with less functions.

Bitsfree: New website with cool design where you can claim once a hour and withdraw to Faucethub at a fairly low amount. Pays pretty well.

Claimbits: Same script as Bitsfree, but pays a bit less and you have to solve three shortlinks once in a while to be able to claim. It's still worth participating in.

Remember: On every claim on these websites you have the chance to win a big amount of cash. So try to use them as often as possible. Unlike the stacking up faucets, with the exception of Cointiply, they don't have a daily bonus, so it's no problem if you ignore them for a while.

Bonusbitcoin: Claim a good amount of satoshis every 15 minutes. Instant payments to Coinpot again.

Click high-paying ads on AdBtc and Dogeads. Another good website for high-paying BTC-ads is Bits-Pays.

Use websites where you can do surveys and all kinds of stuff to earn money that also pay in cryptocurrency. The best website I found that is similar to Swagbucks and has the option to pay cryptos is probably Grindabuck.

Claim your daily bonus at Firefaucet, collect some Autoclaims during the week and run it during the happy hours on the weekend to get most of it. Instant payments to Faucethub.

Step 4: Use semi-passive methods with crypto farming games

There are some crypto games out there that have the ability to build you a decent chunk of passive income after a while. The sites require small tasks you do to earn crypto or credits which you can re-invest in stuff that will generate passive income for you. It takes some effort upfront, but once set up they will passively pay you with no additional effort. Here are my favorites:

Satoshi-Labs: Claim from a faucet every 5 minutes, do surveys and shortlinks and re-invest your earnings in buildings that will generate satoshis for you every hour.

Cryptomininggame: Play a simulated mining game and do missions to level up. As you level up, your earnings increase. This site has a high stacking up daily bonus and can be very profitable once you get to a high level.

Bits-Pays: Has several options to earn passive income. You can play their mining game or buy company shares that will give you dividends. It has a lot of attractive offers for advertisers and very high paying ads and daily bonus, too!

Bitcoinfun: This is a new website that works the exact same as satoshilabs. Once you're into satoshilabs you will also get Bitcoinfun. I see a lot of potential for this website.

Step 5: Fully passive methods

So yeah, let's come to the best part. There are options that require no effort at all! Let's go.

I've already written about sending my satoshis to Freebitcoin for daily interest, but what you can also do is sending some cryptos to Eobot. They are probably the only legit Cloudmining platform out there that has been paying since 2013. You can also claim some GHS there every 24 hours if you set Mining to GHS 5.0. first, which is cool. I like to send some of my altcoins like Doge and Bitcoin Cash to them and convert them in GHS to earn passive Satoshis.

You have probably heart it a thousand times on this sub, but you can also earn Bitcoin by using the two legit autosurfers that pay in Bitcoin by now. This is a fully passive method, just run them whenever you're online.

Getcashfree and Fastcashmining.
Another fully passive website planning to add crypto-payments soon is Radioearn.

Use browser extensions that will automatically generate money for you just for using them:

Presearch: This is probably the best search engine I've ever seen. After installing it will be opened every time you open a new tab. You can customize it, so you can choose from searching via Google, Amazon, Reddit, Wikipedia and much more without accessing the websites first. This is very comfortably and the best part about it: You earn Pre-Tokens for every search, which you can later exchange for BTC.

Surfe.be: A browser extension that shows you some Banners while surfing the web and pays you some money for it. You can disable it at any time and it isn't over-present at all when surfing (I barely notice the banners).

Claim every 24 hours from Mellowads and use it to advertise your ref-links. You can also promote your ref-links on AdBTC, Bits-Pays and DogeAds. Having referrals is another good way to generate some passive income.

Sign up for Mannabase. This is a cool project that aims to create some sort of crypto Universal Basic Income for everyone. After signing up you will need to verify your identity and once they accept you, you'll receive free Manna every week. You can then exchange Manna for BTC or USD. As they have a lot of pending approvals, expect it to take 1-2 months before they accept you.

Conclusion

So yeah, that's basically my main sources and my strategy and I treat it as some sort of site-business. If I am lazy, I spend no more than 10-15 minutes a day to claim the stacking up faucets and daily bonuses on websites and receive my daily interest, payments from Eobot, crypto games and browser extensions anyway. It's really cool to watch your balances, bonus and interest grow over time and who knows? 1$ in Crypto could be 30$ of Crypto in the future. Use this guide as an inspiration to develop your own strategy of acquiring as many Cryptos for free as you can. For me these websites work the best. And I tested a lot of websites.

Additional tips: Use different passwords on the websites and write them all down. It can be a hassle memorizing several passwords. Also create a separate e-mail-address for all the crypto websites. To make it easier handling all the websites, group them in a document e.q. all 1 hour faucets, all stacking up faucets and add links, so you can quickly access them when you want to use this particular group of websites. Be patient at first, your earnings will increase over time.

Feel free to ask me anything, have fun and happy claiming! :)

I Beg You To Get Free Doge!

... maybe via my referral link...
This beg is just asking you use Moon DogeCoin via my referral link. It's a nice way to pick up some free Doge for very little effort and it works with CoinPot.

Anything better than Coinpot?

Right now I'm pulling close to 150 DOGE a day from coinpot.co just clicking casually.
Is there anything comparable to coinpot that is as organized? I like it because I can click through while I work and it all collects and converts in one place. But I can also do like double what I'm doing right now.
If anyone has any suggestions that'd be awesome!

April Is Done! - $247 USD Earned

Amounts listed in USD, since that's what a lot of sites pay in, and it's easy for conversion. Before you ask, I'm located in Canada.
Not a great month. Partly down to lack of effort on my part. I spent about 4 more hours than last month, but made about $20 less. This is mostly due to putting a bit of time into MTurk. Still way under 1000 approved hits, so pay is minimal.

I don't use these sites properly. If you're willing to sign up for offers, install addons, share shopping history, etc., they could be much more lucrative.
Swagbucks (non-ref) - Pays in gift cards, $5 cash out - Only logged in once or twice. I run each of the 6 android video apps each day. Takes most of the afternoon, but aside from opening/closing the apps it's all passive.
InstaGC (non-ref) - Pays in gift cards, $2 cash out - Only did one survey this month.
GrabPoints (non-ref) - Pays in PayPal, $3 cash out - I just signed up and did one survey. There's also offer walls, videos and apps, so it seems like it could be an decent earner.
CinchBucks (non-ref) - Pays in gift cards, $10 cash out - Surveys seem to credit fine now.
GG2U (non-ref) - Pays in PayPal or bitcoin, $7 cash out - Just signed up here as well. Mostly focused on offers and games, which I'm not really into. However, if that's your thing this could be a good site.
Cointiply (non-ref) - Pays in BitCoin - I use it just as a crypto faucet. I've been playing the games a bit though. They can earn you a little extra money.
Click Work
Appen Global - Pays in PayPal (allegedly) - After months I finally got a job in a language I speak. Finished 3 weeks ago, but no sign of payment yet. Customer Support doesn't seem to exist. I'm pretty close to just saying fuck Appen for good.
ClickWorker - Pays in PayPal, 21 day wait for payment - Still my best earner. I log in every morning and try to do any UHRS tasks that pay $0.03 or higher.
Neevo/DefinedCrowd - Pays in PayPal - One of my favourites. I check this one daily right after ClickWorker. They don't pay as well, but the website is nicer and the tasks are easier. I have also not seen any disqualifications, which can be an issue on ClickWorker.
MTurk - Pays in Amazon gift cards - Still way under 1000 completions, so this is just a huge grind with little reward. I keep telling myself that one day this could be a good earner...
Surveys
PaidViewPoint (non-ref) - Pays in PayPal, $15 cash out - Still have yet to get a real survey. They pay me a little each day for filling out more profiling questions though. Maybe my demographic is just off. At a minute or two a day, it's pretty easy.
Prolific - Pays in PayPal (in GBP) - The best survey site I've found. Even got a $10 survey this month.
LegerWeb - Pays in PayPal, $20 cash out - This one always feels tedious, and the surveys are very dull. There's a new website on the way...maybe that will help a bit?
Qmee (non-ref) - Pays in PayPal, no cash out limit - Finally starting to qualify for more surveys. I've stopped doing any that are below $0.50 though.
YouGov (non-ref) - Pays in Amazon GC, $25 cash out - They just opened this to Canada. Still haven't got any surveys.
SliceThePie (non-ref) - Pays in PayPal - Review songs for money. Not a bad idea, and the work is alright. The pay isn't good though. I forgot to log in this month.
CRYPTO FAUCETS
Not a way to make real money, but kind of fun to mess around with. Newest addition is BitHunt (non-ref). It's an autofaucet like FireFaucet (non-ref). Hey guys! I'm getting back into Dogecoin! :)

Hey guys! After a very long (and unexpected) break from Dogecoin (I've been around since the very beginning), I've decided to come back.
I was able to get $500 worth of Dogecoin without spending a single penny (but, of course, that wouldn't have been possible without the help of many generous people :)), but I decided to give it all away in giveaways and get out of the crypro-currency scene (College is hard ;))
Sadly I have no idea what my Reddit login is (I only used it for Dogecoin and that was like 2 years ago. Whoops!)
But now I'm back and I'm excited to meet all of you guys!! I have a few questions -
Since I haven't been gone for so long now, have there been many major changes to dogecoins or cryptocoins in general?
And what is the best way to start earning Dogecoins? I always loved trading but I'm not sure if I remember how to do it anymore, is mining still useful?
Thanks guys! :)

Dogecoin (DOGE) Is One Of The Best Cryptocurrencies, GenesisBlockNews Would Not Exist Without It

http://genesisblocknews.com/dogecoin-doge-is-one-of-the-best-cryptocurrencies-genesisblocknews-would-not-exist-without-it/
Dogecoin (DOGE) is one of the best cryptocurrencies out there, and if Dogecoin did not exist, GenesisBlockNews would not exist either. Without a shadow of a doubt, Dogecoin is what got me into the crypto space. Before I tell that story, let me explain the merits of Dogecoin.
Most cryptocurrencies nowadays launch with an initial coin offering (ICO) or pre-mine, and in both cases the developers take a large amount of coins for themselves out of greed. This ruins the coin supply and market long term. Dogecoin is one of the only cryptocurrencies to have zero premine. From the day Dogecoin launched it was an honest competition between miners, traders, investors, and workers to obtain Dogecoins. As far as I remember, the creator of Dogecoin, Jackson Palmer, does not have more Dogecoins than any other early adopter.
The fact that Dogecoin uses Scrypt proof of work (PoW) enabled people on personal computers to mine Dogecoin, versus Bitcoin which could not be mined on a personal computer, even way back when I started in 2014. Further, Dogecoin has always had a relatively low USD value per coin, so miners can earn entire Dogecoins, if not hundreds to thousands of Dogecoins, via mining and faucets. It feels a whole lot better to earn entire Dogecoins, versus minuscule fractions of Bitcoins, and this is the sort of thing that gets new crypto users excited enough to dive deeper into the space.
The lack of premine and favorable mining conditions allowed Dogecoin to develop one of the healthiest crypto communities; one of the community’s main hubs is dogecoin. The community on dogecoin, and other chat sites and waterbowls, has always been very friendly and generous. At least back when I started in 2014, Dogecoin was known as the crypto for tipping, and this fostered a healthy environment of content sharing and collaboration. Compare this to the Bitcoin community, which practically never tips and is often very aggressive to each other. Not talking down on Bitcoin, basically Bitcoin is aggressive like New York City, and there is a purpose for that and nothing wrong with it, while Dogecoin is like Wisconsin and very friendly.
All of these positive factors is why Dogecoin is sticking around as a major cryptocurrency long term, currently with a market cap of USD 250 million even in this ‘nuclear’ bear market. When the crypto market finally does go to the moon, Dogecoin will definitely be along for the ride.
When I was but a young shibe, Dogecoiners taught me how to mine my first Dogecoins, skills which I later used to mine dozens of different cryptos. Dogecoiners taught me how to exchange Dogecoins for fiat on dogemarket, which would later become a real enterprise for me as it expanded into Bitcoin dealing. Without the training and experience on dogemarket I would have never had a chance at being a Bitcoin dealer. Also, the tipping rewards for good content on dogecoin motivated me to become a crypto journalist, which is now my career, and allows me to provide a stable home for my wife.
Essentially, Dogecoin is a friendly gateway for the crypto space, and without Dogecoin I would probably be stuck working a physical labor job, instead of using my intellect to its maximum capabilities. Dogecoin and crypto in general provides the freedom to do any job or business you are capable of, and the friendly helping hand of the Dogecoin community is what made me realize that. For many people their crypto experience starts with the friendly shibes of the Dogecoin community, and then quickly becomes a serious career.

Robin's Beer Money / Work Online Recommended Sites List (last update May 2019)

Top Survey Sites

Pretty straightforward, and open to almost anyone. They won't make you a ton of money, but an extra $10-$20 a month isn't bad. Most of these are (relatively) low on disqualifications. You should definitely try these before doing surveys on GPT sites.
Site Availability ~$/hr (USD)
Prolific World $10.41
LegerWeb Canada $6.01
PaidViewPoint World $3.21
Qmee World $2.44
YouGov NA $1.25

Get Paid To (or GPT)

I don't use these sites properly. If you're willing to sign up for offers, install addons, share shopping history, etc., they could be much more lucrative. I tend to just leave videos running or do the odd survey.
Site Availability ~$/hr (USD)
Swagbucks NA/EU/AUS/IN $4.321
GrabPoints World $2.20
CinchBucks World $0.78
GG2U World $1.76
InstaGC World $0.38
Cointiply World ??2

Click Work (or PTC - Paid To Click)

The closet thing to a real job on this list. You have to check these sites regularly though, as jobs can come and go pretty quickly. Make sure, as soon as you sign up, you complete any qualifications or additional skill tests you can. The more you do, the more you can earn. Specifically you need to complete UHRS I and UHRS II on ClickWorker to make any real money.
Site Availability ~$/hr (USD)
ClickWorker World3 $19.48
Neevo/DefinedCrowd World $6.77
MTurk Varies $1.304
SliceThePie World $0.41

POD (or Print On Demand)

Kind of going the way of ebook writing. The market has become flooded with low effort garbage. Don't believe all the affiliate YouTube channels telling you you can make $1000 a day at this. You won't. There's a lot of set-up involved here, and it may or may not pay off. It mostly depends on how good your designs are, and whether or not you're willing to put time into promotion.
Site Availability ~$/hr (USD)
TeePublic World Varies

Crypto Currencies

Not a way to make real money, but kind of fun to mess around with. This only makes a couple dollars a month for me. That said, I also only check the faucets once a day. Most will allow you to check once an hour or more. Doing that would obviously increasing your earning dramatically. Newest addition is BitHunt. It's an auto-faucet like FireFaucet. It has a bunch of different altcoins to choose from and it'll run in the background for a few hours each day. This makes it totally passive income. Here are some recommended sites:

2019 Earning Reports

All Amounts In USD
Jan Feb - $380 Mar - $260 Apr - $247
May Jun Jul Aug
Sep Oct Nov Dec
1 This is basically passive income from running the android apps each day.
2 I mostly just use this for the crypto faucet, so don't track hours. I'd guess it's at least as good as InstaGC though.
3 As long as you can receive payment with either SEPA or PayPal in your country.
4 If you're american, you can make a ton of money on this site. It also really ramps up when you get over 1000 approved hits. I'm not, and I'm still under 1000, so I'm making next to nothing.

ULTIMATE CRYPTO FAUCET LIST - Abraham Lincoln and a cool list of cryptocurrency faucets for you and your shibe.

Four score and a couple of months ago a few crypto-faucet winners and losers popped up in my browser... SOME WERE THE BEST HOT DAMN FREE BITCOIN FAUCETS that a person could find and well some were not as fast...During the last decade the worlds developers and programmers brought forth on this planet the crypto-faucet in many different forms. Are all faucets created equal? They are not... Alright I know this isn't the Gettysburg address but who doesn't love Lincoln?
Here I have compiled The best Fun and Profitable Cryptocoin Faucet List for you. If you like this list you may use it to sign up for these great faucets and claim Bitcoin as well as many different Altcoins. These are referral links so I might get some fantastic referrals like you in exchange for creating this hopefully useful list.
One thing you will need is patience, if you are going to try to get some bitcoins or altcoins for free. it's not really free basically you are being given a very tiny amount of crypto-currency for watching internet advertising or for competing in games or challenges. There are also places you can get paid in Cryptocurrency for completing surveys or doing small tasks.
As with anything on the internet you use these at your own risk and do be careful out there in faucet land. Some of these pages have third party advertisers that will have some pretty crazy s**t pop up on you.
If you do want to go wandering around in faucet land, Here are some of my favourite bitcoin and altcoin faucets;
These are a few of the best i've found for Bitcoin!
FREE BITCO.IN - this one pays out daily interest once you have a high enough balance
The next seven faucets listed are for COINPOT a handy collector for your faucet claims. They payout quite quickly once you reach minimums.
MOON BITCOIN
BITFUN
BONUS BITCOIN: HINT; this one is great on it's own but it's even better if you find the settings and always claim the average amount! Unless you hit the jackpot this will always bring you more coins over the long run.
If you prefer Altcoin faucets these are very wOw! <3
MOON BITCOIN CASH
MOON LITECOIN
MOON DASH
MOON DOGE! MEGA WOW! MUCH SHIBE THANKS! WOW wow WOW
MORE DOGE AT FREEDOGE COIN
BYTECOIN: tHe recently PINK CRYPTO
Here is a site that GETS BONUS POINTS for having a funny name You can claim bitcoin quite often but it takes a long time to reach the threshold unless you have referrals. That's where you come in my friend please help me out and become a referral. Thank you very much! :-)
BITCOINKER! - update NOT PAYING as of July 2019 site admin please pay up!
Or another site you will need much patience to get a little EtherEum;
eThErEuM FAUCET
There are some sites that have games! and pay a little bit of coins for hanging out and playing some games. cool.
CHOPCOIN
BITFUN
LOOTBITS! reviews not good probably scam -
If you like to claim quite a bit,do surveys, or get free coins through chat you might want to try: FAUCETHUB They give away quite a bit of free Potcoin (POT) as well as other coins such as DOGE and PRIMECOIN
If you like Faucethub and it's owner (s)he has another site that pays you for shortening your links: BTC-LINK SHORTENER
And this strange little crypto-game(?) is the one featured in the image for this post. While you can deposit to make the 'game' go faster you can also play for free and have the option of earning coins in other ways.
WEIRD LITTLE CRYPTO FARM GAME - - after "researching" this one it is probably a "loser" based on reviews found on various forums. That said I'm hangin' in there for now to see what happens.
CLOUD MINE FOR FREE - ON EOBOT if you are so inclined. You will need to either claim from their faucet everyday and put it into GHS rental or transfer funds from other faucets to get started just message me here if you are having trouble.
This faucet claiming and "cloud mining" is all very experimental and profits are very small. At the end of the day; PERHAPS IT IS BETTER JUST TO OUTRIGHT BUY COINS - Through this exchange BINANCE
Who knows if anyone is really making much on this stuff or not. Join one or join them all the more the merrier. So that's the list. I hope all you faucet seekers or curious browsers find it useful and or interesting. Good luck out there and if you have any questions about any of them please feel free to message me. All the best in your search for freedom and equality!

MOON MISSION - How to Expand the Dogecoin Community!

Hello fellow Shibes,

I decided to make a post regarding the expansion of the Dogecoin community. As a very passionate enthusiast I want to see it reach the moon! This post will be focusing on two main aspects of Dogecoin which I think if cherished or improved will directly corelate with more people joining the Dogecoin community; also discussing how we can promulgate the great things and give attention to areas that need work. The two aspects are:
-The community
-The currencies technical fundamentals (what they are and how to get people investing)

Let’s start off with the community, WOW! It’s awesome! Unlike other crypto-currency communities whose members are nearly 100% of the time only concerned about financial gains, or what potential criminal use cases are possible (this is truly why the original bitcoin boom occurred). The dogecoin community is completely different, one only has to look at this reddit forum to notice. Or, what this relatively small (in the grand scheme of things) community has funded. $50k for athletes in the 2014 Olympics, sponsoring NASCAR drivers, the Doge4water program etc etc.

So how can we the community continue to spread the word in effective ways? I’ve heard many ideas such as advertisement via posters, social media accounts, charity programs. All of these things are I great if we want to appeal to the masses, but I think the most effective and practical way to encourage people to join the Dogecoin community is by telling our friends who might be interested in why we use it (That’s certainly how I joined the community). I heard someone state something simple yet very true, “if everyone assisted just ONE friend in setting up a doge wallet and got them hooked on the community the population would double!” I personally think that verbal explanation to friends and family is the most simple and effective way of expanding the Dogecoin community, have you guys any other ideas? Let me know.

The issue is unless you’re (generally) in the crypto know-how your most likely not going to take any action if left to your own devices, why? There’s no real incentive to join the community and or to invest in the currency for most people (I’ll address this later). Which leads me to my next point, the technical aspects of Dogecoin.

When talking about any crypto-currency there is usually 5 things to take into consideration to determine if the currency is going to succeed or be useable. Important to note this is done BEFORE the investment, so if the currency doesn’t address these issues well, you’ve lost potential Dogecoin investors.
1) Is it small cap or large cap
2) The blockchain technology
3) Transaction fees
4) It’s White papers (overall goals / roadmap by the engineers of the currency)
5) Ease of purchase / use cases

Let’s test Dogecoin against these 5 points.

1) WOW! 1 Billion dollar market cap! If anyone says Dogecoin is a silly meme currency make them explain that! This means that Dogecoin has been tested against scrutiny and has come out strong, especially since it’s been around since 2013. This is the mark of a truly successful project.
2) Dogecoins blockchain is great, providing ultra-fast transaction times of under a minute, compared to 2.5 minutes on Litecoin and 10 minutes with Bitcoin (this varies depending on 24-hour currency volumes). Also, Dogecoins hashing power is merged with Litecoin which provides a safety net for the proof-of-work system.
3) Transaction fees is another awesome benefit of Dogecoin, because it’s 1 Doge! Which is miniscule compared to many other cryptos.
4) White paper goals? TO THE MOON!
5) Ease of purchase / use cases; this is where I think Dogecoin lacks a bit, so I’ll dedicate the next part of this post to this issue.

Since we have identified that the Dogecoin currency has a great community which can help spread the word, great technology and huge potential what could be stopping people from joining? Well as I mentioned before from research and experience with friends I believe it has to do with the ease of purchase and use cases (hard to buy / hard to spend). When purchasing any crypto-currency you want to buy from a exchange with high volume, the higher the volume the more reputable and safe the exchange is generally speaking. What are the top 5 Dogecoin exchangers ranked by Doge volume?
1) Bittrex @ 20.27%
2) Poloniex @ 17.72%
3) Gate.io @ 10.28%
4) CoinExchange @ 5.96%
5) HitBTC @ 4.92%

What do these reputable exchanges that support Dogecoin have in common? They are all US based, which means if you’re not in the US, unless you want to use a exchange with un-verified reputation that supports a (your countries currency / DOGE) conversion you need to buy Bitcoin or Litcoin first. Then after purchasing your Bitcoin / Litcoin from your countries most reputable exchanges, convert BTC/DOGE or LTC/DOGE. For a crypto-currency novice, buying Dogecoin isn’t too user friendly and might seem like a daunting task.

What does this mean? What can we do about it? I’m 16 years old so I don’t really have the expertise to answer this question but here are some ideas I came up with, feel free to respond and tell me yours.

Dogecoin ATMs: These could be funded by the community and produced in small quantities, but strategically placed where as many people as possible will see such as near tourist attractions. Bitcoin has had major success with this program, it shows to the general public that this is a legitimate usable currency. Also, it provides the convenience of placing loose change into Dogecoin.
Ultimate Dogecoin Exchange: This could be an exchange aimed at making purchasing Dogecoin online simple, automating the (your currency / BTC) > (BTC / DOGE) process.

Now let’s talk about the other issue I think could be improved, use cases / ease of spend. So how can we actually use Dogecoin? The ‘Shop with Dogecoins’ section on this forum list all the places that currently support Dogecoin as a payment system, let’s face it, there’s not much. In order for Dogecoin to be truly usable currency a few reputable stores will need to start adopting Dogecoin as a payment system, which is not something that we can really change.

What we can do it is continue to spread the word, and tell our friends and family how much of a great community Dogecoin has, what it has accomplished and what it continues to strive for. I personally have had success in collecting doge from faucets (currently my only supply of Doge because I’m underage to use exchanges), then making paper wallets for my friends. I’ve read about so many other cool projects people are working on to expand the community, in whatever capacity them may have. Just awesome :)

Thanks for listening to my ideas, TO THE MOON!

EDIT: Thank-you everyone for the support of this post, and to the generous Shibes that gave tips :))

Tips on getting free Dogecoin

Today I wanted to share how I get some Dogecoin for free everyday.

The method I am going to show you involves coinpot. It is a great site like faucet hub where you can get multiple currencies such as Bitcoin, BTC cash, Litecoin, Dash and, most importantly, Dogecoin!

Firstly, go to coinpot and sign up. All you need is an email and password. After this you want to go to the actual faucets themselves. It would be appreciated if you message me for links as I can get a ref! In my experience, if I claim a lot I can get 20 doge a day. It is good because the minimum to withdraw is 50 doge. The moon faucets are moon bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin, dash, bitcoin cash. The 2 other faucets are Bonus Bitcoin and Bitfun. To get 50 doge a day you claim from all of these and convert them all to doge. It is good as well since converting takes seconds.

Thanks for reading!

Edit: changed 50 doge a day to 20 doge a day as that was outdated. Ignorant on my part, sorry!

Faucets

http://moonbit.co.in
http://moonbitcoin.cash
http://moondoge.co.in
http://moonliteco.in
moondash.co.in/
